its not the slinging, its bypassing all the crap by skipping past them because of one thing or another.

upping the sv_fps in wfa helped a bit, but not enough. upping the zonemegs helps from hitting that memory ceiling, but no admin listens. I fully understand why you can walk right by an alarm without triggering it on a server but not localhost.

what's all this have to do with maps? because we minimized these side effects greatly by optimizing the hell out of em this time around. at least servers rarely run out of memory now; they used to a helluva lot more in the past.
