on a conference call today, on the topic of a new development server for my application:
Wayne: "There are 2 compaq proliant servers sitting next to me here that haven't been turned on in a year"
Elaine: "Well, if no one has taken them, maybe we should look into getting one for your dev box. would it be good enough?"
Wayne: "Well, since the production box has a p400 with 384 megs of ram, i think these 1GHz machines with a gig of ram will probably suffice for development purposes"
me: "Since you've got so many to spare, think you can send one to me as well?"
Elaine: "no, you're in canada."
