I meant manually setting up the dhcp server
also the first thing I tried was ipconfig, always an error "can not release, under control of dhcp" or something like that
ohh well an option that might work would be to reinstall 2000, that might fix it
weird thing is the 98 is fine, same nic, same hardware, heck even the same drive (I only installed 98 after 2000 would not get online)
