q3map2 culls nonvisible detail surfaces; running through some maps that the author never heard of caulk with q3map2 dropped visible surfaces drawn alot. during the bsp process nonvisible structural surfaces are culled as well. But it will also (sometimes) force portals. if you say make one big wall with a map and decide to place other walls that intersect it. There are alot of tutes on the quake3world.com/forums under level editing, and soon there will be a tute on how to set up gtk to mod with wfa easily. Right now it's in a state of change, so try not to use wfa textures right now as I dumped alot of useless media. |
