Understood, but seriously, how much of an advantage are we talking if we were to use, say 11 textures in a particular room, vs 3 or 4.
In my sig below, the far left pic, I counted 11 textures being used. 11 is really not that many. Even on what would be considered today as a low end system, I can't imagein 11 textures causing a lag issue.
