It just means your map won't be considered for inclusion with 3.5... There will be plenty of maps that will be ready for me to pick from.
As for submitting maps, I'll be in IRC all day on Aug 8th. You can give me your pk3 then if you haven't found Rav or SS. At midnight Aug 8th, I'll stop accepting pk3s and start working on sorting out which maps will make the cut for 3.5. You can also send me a link to your pk3s through email...
