Subject: **READ** Some Basic Guidelines **READ**

Reposted as a friendly reminder -- Do not taunt the happy fun ball, as Dizzy would say. Abide the guidelines or perish in hell for all eternity. Here we go again...

Send us only your best work, and only then if you feel it is worthy of being included with v3.5. That means on par with some of the better maps to come out with WFA.

Don't send us half-done maps -- We don't want to have to finish them, we only intend on polishing them and optimizing them for better gameplay.

Don't send us maps that don't meet our requirements (this includes DOM support, proper map-design techniques ie. caulking, area portals where applicable, VIS considerations, and most importantly, the damned .map file)

And finally, don't send us complex maps that require a GPS system to tell us where we are and where need to go. Maps should be designed with ease of navagation in mind and allow a player to immediately recognize where (s)he is are a must. (ie: base coloring, location entities, spawn room hints, landmarks, etc)... We don't have time to spend 50 hours learning your maps, and neither do the majority of the players.

Lastly, MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE YOUR .MAP FILE
