your sending the email from outlook i doubt you will be able to insert it, the way i do it is send emails like that using php and insert the html that way. not sure how to do it in outlook. but yea, i was talking about a standard <img src="http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/9352/doughboydances.gif" /> tag hotlinking it directly into the email wont solve your problem. however, you might be able to do insert -> image, then instead of selecting a file, paste the URL into the filename field, it should reference it correctly and insert the needed html img tag. if not, i can look tomorrow at work and see what else there is. not many people know, but some file selectors can handle external URLs, just don't know exsactly how it handles them. |
